About this template
A Murphy bed is a cabinet with a very heavy door. The cabinet, the bed frame and the bookcases either side are straightforward panel work, and that is what this plan covers.
The lift mechanism is not something to improvise. Buy a rated spring or gas-strut kit for your mattress weight and give Caminu its mounting dimensions, so the cabinet is sized around it. The cabinet must be fixed to the wall structure.
