Do I need CAD experience?
No. You describe the piece in plain words. Caminu works out the panels, the joints and the hole positions and shows you the result in 3D.
Can I use hardware I already have?
Yes. Add it with its measurements, a product link or a drawing, mark it as owned, and ask for the design to use it. That works for handles, hinges and lights as well as larger things such as a sink.
Which fittings does Caminu use if I don't choose any?
Knock-down cabinet connectors and wood screws for the carcass, and concealed cup hinges for doors. You can ask for alternatives.
Can I change a design after it is generated?
Yes. Ask for the change in the conversation, such as a different width or another shelf. Materials, lighting and moving parts you set directly in the side panel.
